Auntie Lynn bought Estelle her very own cleaning set (mop, brush, broom, dustpan) when she and Uncle Calvin came up for a visit.
Here’s Estelle hard at work!

One wonders… how long will this last?

Forward MARCH!
Now off to conquer the rest of the house!
It’s been really windy around here for the last few days… and this afternoon was no exception. While some choose to enjoy the breeze from the comforts of the leather sofa, others went out to enjoy the true force of Mother Nature.
Now, what are the 2 of them doing?!!!!

And they managed to drag SSAY and the 2 dogs into it as well??? (For those visually impaired… click on the photo. heh heh.)

The answer… it’s not a bird, nor a plane… But a fire breathing pink dragon KITE!

After reading her favourite book about Pooh and friends flying kites, Estelle has been asking us for a kite. So this lazy Sunday afternoon saw DaddyO and Estelle off to choose a kite. And they have had great fun flying it (TWICE) this afternoon.
Here’s how Estelle eats an oreo…

Perhaps there’s a lesson to be learnt from here: always enjoy the best bits first.

And now straight to the bathroom to brush her teeth!
We all shared a nice quiet evening after DaddyO cooked us a yummy dinner with Jade Noodles. While Mummy settled down to feed Amelie, Estelle started her favourite game and Daddy grabbed the camera…

And while we waited for the water to heat up for our evening baths…

So, what does a 2 year old do when Mummy is stuck feeding little sister and can’t play with her?

Hide behind a pillow, shine a torch and pretend she’s camping.
HAHAHA.
We went for poolside prata breakfast with Jei, Nors and Niki bright and early in the morning… with a very special guest Heazry!

Estelle had a great time at the pool and going on the floats and the slide. See that float Estelle is on? It can actually take the weight of BOTH Jei and Jason. WoW!
DaddyO went out and got a child-seat for his bike!

So lucky little Estelle got a spin around the estate.
Estelle has been having fun with this new game she invented. She pretends that something is stuck and the entire Pooh gang, including Estelle herself, will have to help dislodge the object. It’s very endearing to see her playing by herself (complete with a running commentary…)

We’ve been trying to spend as much time with Estelle as possible, especially when Amelie’s asleep. It’s been pretty good so far. When we’re really busy with Amelie, Estelle will pretty much entertain herself with reading one of her numerous books, or by playing with her toys, or playing the abovementioned game.
Life doesn’t get any better…
When both my girls woke up, and had their milk, they both settled down wonderfully and amused each other. Estelle would talk to Amelie and Amelie will follow Estelle’s every move. (I don’t think Amelie can see, but she sure can follow Estelle’s voice and move her head in the direction!)
